He came across a Alyeid ruin called Vindasel very shortly after leaving the Imperial Sewers, in there he met a woman named Umbra. When he turned his back she attempted to kill him, however he defeated her and upon seeing her blade, he felt the dark power pulsating from it and Jax left the ruin as quckly as he could, fearing it would corrupt him.
