The Elder Stats

I voted for bows and swords. You can vote for your two most favorite. I'd go for hand-to-hand if I had three options.

I like to paralyze enemies from far away with my bow, and then pull out my sword and go in for the kill. Or, I sometimes just charge at them with my sword and beat them down.

I prefer Magic, fry 'em is my tactic (?)

Like I said, I'd use swords more often if they had better swordplay. But I like to shoot down enemies before they can get to me. What I do is get as far away as possible, then, when they are just fadidin into the dstance, let the arrow fly. Then I repeatedly shoot as many arrows as I can. By the time they get to me- oh, wait. They don't...

Blade, specifically, the Ebony Blade

Somewhere along the way I picked up the "Bow of Voltage" It's great! Shock damage and soul trap. Then I enchanted a Glass shortsword with shock damage as well. Those two have not failed me yet. I just came across an Ebony longsword so I'm going to start using that and see how it works out.

I believe he's referring to The Ebony Blade not just Ebony blades in general.

Ah, I see. I wasn't aware of that item. Just goes to show how I need to play more Oblivion.

My first 10-20 characters, all used blades since I loved them so much, but when I then one day made an archer, I found out that was REALLY cool too, so the last weeks I've mainly been using bow and sometimes blade, allthough I today made a character called Metin, who will use ONLY spells. No reason to carry big heavy weapons if you don't know how to use them anyway
