When you get to that point in teh main Quest which Artifact do you give to martin?
Basically i am comign close to that bit, and i usually always gave Azura's star because the quest led onto that, (martin suggests it). But what is :
A) the Easiest to get
B) The most useless.

(ofcourse i'm not going to choose Axura's star now that i know its actually in-game value.

Some easy Daedric Quests are Namira's Quest, Molag Bal's Quest, and Sheogorath's Quest

That depends on what kind of character you're playing with. If you're playing as a character who uses Blade, then Volendrung won't be very useful to you. If your character wears heavy armor, then the Saviour's Hide won't be very useful to you.

if u really wanna keep em all (like me, im a major collector of things in oblivion), just duplicate something. but i think azuras star is the most useless, cuz u can get tons of welkynd stones even w/o duplicating, and they're beter

I am considering giving him Wabbajack, the quest seems quite easy and a little fun, i'm only level 3 atm so i can start the quest right now, and the actualy weapon has no REAL value to my character, sure it can be pretty cool to get some NPC or ceature killed, or at higher levels to bring down big creatures, but i probablies won't carry it around that much anyways, so wabbajack seems like a good option, but man when i start shivering isles - if sheogorath finds out i gave away his staff, he's gunna be angry lol :P

I think you mean Varla Stones, not Welkynd Stones. Welkynd stones recharge your magicka, while Varla Stones recharge your weapons. Also, Azura's Star can be used for more than just recharging your weapons, it can also be used to enchant items, which you can't do with a Varla Stone.

I've had Azura's Star in my main character's inventory for a long time, and I always find it useful for soul trapping and enchanting. I do a lot of enchanting, especially to fortify my feather, so I use Azura's Star a lot.

You still need the Arcane University's (or Frostcrag Spire's) Enchanting Altars to be able to enchant with it. It just takes the place of a normal soul gem in the enchanting process.

i would give him the sanguine rose cuz after the creature that is summoned kills the target it attacks u next.
or the masque av clavicus vile cuz it only fortifys personality.
NEVER give the skeliton key, it is no doubt the most useful deadric artifact.
