The Elder Stats

Have enyone here ever made a name potion?
Is it a bug(and if,is it fixed by any patch)?
I have only made one once so is it an easy way to make more?

EDIT:A Name potion is a potion without any effects,but it still has its value.
Last time I got it was when I made potions of 103 grapes and 93 corn,it was on PC and my computer are a little bit slow

I've never heard of a "name potion", and there's not much on the Internet about name potions in Oblivion. Maybe some others will know what you're talking about, but can you explain what name potions are?

Haha. It jsut because you didn't gname to your potion i think, you probablies clicked to edit it but then decided not to change it lol. Giving 'Name Potion'.
I think this is the most likely problem.

It still would've had its effects, though, unless you somehow added an ingredient, removed it, and then made a potion out of nothing.

I got the potion while I was making 90-100 potions at the same time, so it is nothing I have done as a specific potion.
I think I have video at it, its coming at youtube as soon I found it.

be careful with it. i was pickpocketing and i came across an item labed <Missing Name>. I tried to take it out of my inventory and it froze my game and made it super laggy. Being the creative person i am i found a way to get rid of it. i got myself arrested and the item was promptly removed. my game seemed to return to normal. problem solved

Oh yeah some item in oblivion does that, I forget which

apparently, my research has told me the more <Missing Name> you carry the less weight you carry. which is interesting until you drop one by mistake and your game freezes
