Modern Warfare 2 looks like it would be good, but I can't wait for Left 4 Dead 2. That's probably my number one anticipated game, next to Black Mesa: Source and Half-Life 2: Episode Three.

I heard about that. I've also heard that because of that ban, there is some speculation that the game will be rated Adult Only (AO) instead of Mature (M) in the United States. Of course, it's only speculation, and people on the Internet who speculate on things such as the government generally have no facts to base their ideas on. Still, it's a shame about the ban in Australia. Maybe the government there will change their minds later. Governments seem to change their minds a lot now-a-days.

They even considered banning Fallout 3 and GTA 4 because of the drug influence or something!

I'm looking forward to Dragon Age: Origins. Bioware has made so many good games, I must buy it!

I don't think that the government is responsible for the nice little tilted block letter(s) on your game covers. In the US, it's done by the ESRB, which is not owned by the Government.

Well, that speculation was only from people on a forum, and of course they are wrong. If games like Grand Theft Auto IV don't get AO, then Left 4 Dead 2 will definitely not.

Hopefully they will unban Left 4 Dead 2 in Australia.

I didn't mean to refer to the government when I was talking about the AO rating in the US. Sorry, it was my fault for not making it clearer. :)

I wouldn't worry about Left 4 Dead 2 getting an AO rating at all. It's 100% not going to happen. And just to prove my point there have only been 24 AO rated games ever. And for a game to get AO, it has to have some kind of strong sexual content. Left 4 Dead 2 has no sexual content whatsoever, so we are fine. Plus, Left 4 Dead 2 isn't even that bloody or gory, as opposed to some other games out there.

I know no one necessarily believed that it was going to get an AO rating, but I figured I'd just clear that up for anyone who thought it might.
