As the title says, just post a little fact per post. When someone else posts, then you can post another. I'd perfer it if you kept to one fact every post.

Around 80% of all household dust is dead skin.

Ha, I think you meant to say something like:

64.32% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

That's what my parents said a few days ago. But, as for mine:

Monosodium Glutamate is a neuro-toxin that is in around 80% of today's food products.

If someone tells you that they find you sexually attractive, there is approximately a twenty thousand and thirty two per cent chance that they are exaggerating.

Hmmm, should I bring back that one about made up statistics?

The 8th grade is 90% review from the 7th grade. Since humans are supposed to be dumber during that stage of their life, the same learning is repeated.

No, it isn't.

Um, yes. studies have shown this, and if you look through you books, it doesn't teach you much more than the last grade.

No, it doesn't.

I just WENT through 8th grade, and remember everything from 7th grade. The only thing that was relatively the same was English, and that was Shakespeare. But, if you're going to say that, 9th, 10th, 11th, and perhaps 12th grade English is the same.

It isn't.

Math was totally different. In 7th grade we didn't even touch Algebra, in 8th grade we dived right in, and now I'm off to Geometry. In history, there were two different things.

In 7th grade we learned about medieval times, spanning from Ancient China to the early New World Explorers. In 8th, it was from the New World Explorers (for about a week), to the Civil War.

Science was totally different. 7th grade was more in-tune with Life and things having to do with life, while 8th grade was physics related subjects.

You are wrong.

I don't think there's any way to prove whether or not Ninja's fact is true. Different schools teach different things during the school year. So while some may repeat what they taught the year prior, I doubt all do.

Now, to get back on topic, a zoonose is a disease transferred from an animal to a human or vice-versa.
