What to do?

Postby The Ninja » December 24th, 2009, 7:43 pm

Alright, so I just recieved a $100 gift card to target from my aunt and grandmother for Christmas, but I don't know exactly what to get.

There is:

1. Assassins Creed II for $60

2. Fallout 3 (Game of the Year Edition) for $60

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPdJ3BAOCe4

3. Resident Evil 5 (probably not, though) for $40

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLqjE_76ukM

4. TES IV: Oblivion (Game of the Year Edition) for $30

This needs no trailer for you.

5. Mass Effect (I can wait till it is back in stock)?

No trailer needed, I presume.

6. Mass Effect 2

I will probably use the left over money to buy some clothing articles which have the most expensive one at $30, but I am only getting one (probably a cheaper one), but IDK. Which game(s) should I get?

Add it to your savings fund for a legit gaming PC. That saving begins now.

FO3: GOTY
$60 is a bargain considering. You have all 5 DLC, all of which are excellent. You'll have well over 40+ hours of game play, and will experience the full FO3 experience.

You should save cash, and use gift cards. I think that that is a good motto to go by.

Really? What makes you say FO3, instead of Assassin's Creed II?

True. Most gift cards end up charging you a small monthly fee after one year or so for every month that you don't use it. Also, 99.9% of gift cards are not redeemable for cash, so how can you bring it to your savings fund if it's not tangible money to begin with? I think Taylor was thinking that it was cash and not a gift card.

AC2 is pretty good from my experience, but FO3 is just a better game in my opinion. Plus, with all the DLC, you get loads of game play hours. Also, since the card is $100, it won't take much more cash to get AC2 as well.

...However, Borderlands is awesome.

I would agree with you, Kestral, but my father thinks that I waste enough time on the XBOX, (my mother is in STRONG AGREEMENT!) so I would like a great game which is fun and doesn't take 80+ hours to get the achievements and complete.

Now that I have seen the trailer for Mass Effect 2, however, I am a little hyped for it. I have added that to my list of options, and made a poll. So please, vote!

I gave each of you the option to vote for two different things. So vote for the TWO favorites, not just one kind twice.

FYI, you can't vote for one option twice in a poll, even if you have allowed multiple options. ;)
